Training for Project 2016 begins!

After the Double  Spartathlon I took about 4 weeks off from running.  The first couple of weeks I did nothing other than take my dog for a walk, to be quite honest my body wasn’t up to anything more than walking, it felt tired.

With two weeks of just walking I was beginning to be slightly grumpy (according to HWMBO) so I went to the gym for some cross training – WELL after half an hour on the bike I was exhausted so got back into my Mini and headed home.  A couple of days later I tried again and this time my legs seems to be more responsive and over the next week I began to look lovingly at my trainers again which meant it was time to get running.
